Guatemala Mission Trip
In 2024 we began a relationship with STC Life Guatemala where we are building houses in the rural community of Pachimulin. We also deliver food to the families in the area and lead VBS for kids.
Summer Sports Camp
Each summer we host a one-week Sports Camp for kids in the community ages 6-10 years old. The kids get to learn about one of the following sports – Archery, Fishing, Soccer, Basketball and Cheer – but more importantly, we teach them about Jesus! This is such a fun week in the life of our church.
Operation Christmas Child
We don’t wait until Christmas to begin our Shoe Box ministry; we gather items all year long! FBC London has a group of ladies that work diligently on this ministry 12 months a year. In 2024, we filled over 450 boxes! If you would like to take part in this ministry, give us a call in the church office and we’ll get you plugged in.
Outside the Walls
In the last year, FBC London has made a renewed commitment to share the gospel throughout our community. We have knocked on hundreds of doors, making a genuine effort to connect with our neighbors. Many times we prayed with people right on their front porch. This is an on-going mission – watch for the next opportunity to go Outside the Walls!
Other Local Partners
FBC London leads the way in putting boots on the ground for ministry in London/Laurel County. But we know we can’t do it all. Here is a list of the community partners we support as well: Laurel County Life Center, The Backpack Program of Laurel County, Isaiah 58:10 Ministries, Oneida Baptist Institute, Clear Creek Baptist School, Come-Unity Co-Op Care, Chad’s Hope of Eastern Kentucky, and the Good Samaritan House Homeless Shelter.
